Note: the next Month is Chinese Lantern season many people will be lighting the lanterns celebrating new year and into Chinese new year in mid January and many people confuse these with Ufos.

VICTORIAN residents reported seeing strange lights in the sky last night.
 A man in East Keilor reported seeing orange lights that formed a diamond and moved in a synchronised pattern to the west of Melbourne Airport at about 10.15pm.
 A woman in Warburton had a similar experience 45 minutes later.
 David Bekesi, 52, said he had just stepped out for a cigarette when he saw the series of orange lights.
 Mr Bekesi has seen all kinds of aircraft fly over his house heading to nearby Melbourne Airport, but said this was like nothing he had ever seen before.
 He said the lights stayed in the sky for number of minutes before moving higher up and disappearing.
 “They all grouped in one area and then went straight up into the sky,” he said.

Ufos A Christchurch family believe they saw a convoy of UFOs travelling above their house -- and say they've got the pictures to prove it.
It comes a day after secret documents of UFO sightings were released by the New Zealand Defence Force. Caught on video is what is thought to be one of 10 UFOs travelling in a convoy above the streets of Christchurch.Jeannine Mander spotted the series of lights moving in the sky above her house last Wednesday, at 10pm.
"Bright, bright orange lights, with a flicker in them," she explains.
She wasn't the only one to see the UFO, with neighbours and family watching on the deck.
"I believe there is something out there. We are here, so there is something out there. We can't be the only living form," says Ms Mander.

New Zealand releasing its Ufo Files

Some big news here The Ministry of Defence of New Zealand is set to release its Ufo files!.
There are more than 2000 pages of material which date back to the 1950s.They have been held by Archives New Zealand, who will make them available in February this coming year.

Thousands of secret files on New Zealand's UFO reports are set to be made public, nearly 32 years to the day after our most famous sighting.

The files include every witness account of unidentified flying objects reported to authorities since the early 1950s, including the 1978 Kaikoura mystery.

They had been held by Archives New Zealand, which was to make them available in February after requests from the public, but the Defence Force stepped in, saying it needed to remove personal identification to comply with the Privacy Act.

The Defence Force promised to release the files by the end of this year and is due to make them public this week.

More than 2000 pages of files will be issued in 12 volumes. Squadron Leader Kavae Tamariki said the Defence Force would not comment on the files' content.

"We've just been a collection point for the information. We don't investigate or make reports, we haven't substantiated anything in them."

The Defence Force did not have the resources to investigate UFO sightings, Squadron Leader Tamariki said.

The director of research group UFOCUS NZ, Suzanne Hansen, said she had been trying to get hold of the Defence Force files for nearly two years.

"I started lobbying, and at first they said there was no way in the foreseeable future they'd be released. It's been a long time coming."

In August last year The Press sought access to the files under the Official Information Act, and was told by the Defence Force the request "would require a substantial amount of collation, research and consultation to identify whether any of that information could be released", and it was "not in a position to deploy staff to undertake that task".

Report on New Zealands most famous Ufo case over Kaikoura which was recorded on radar:


It has been almost 30 years since unidentified flying objects were observed off the coast of Kaikoura during the Christmas/New Year break of 1978.
The sightings are to be marked soon with a commemorative flight, a gathering of enthusiasts and even a musical.
At the time, news of the sightings was reported worldwide and to this day they remain a huge source of controversy.
 But the remarkable thing about the sightings is whatever was flying around that night was not just observed, it showed up on radar too and was caught on film.

Lights over Santiago were an Airforce exercise or Ufo Cover?

17th December 2010 Santiago Chile - numerous reports came into RealUfos about lights in the sky.
We now know an airforce operation happened that night but why on Earth do the Chilean Airforce keep repeating these exercises over highly populated areas at night ? (these night time exercises with precarious moves have previously occurred in 2003, 2005 and 2007). Some people have suggested the recent event may have been an attempt to distract people from a series of sightings that happened earlier in the night and week over Santiago - who knows?

Ft Lauderdale Ufos - anyone see them ?

I've received 2 emails from people who spotted numerous objects above Ft Lauderdale over the last few days.

If anyone has further information or video please reply to this post.

Last night i saw a mass of lights in the skype above Ft Lauderdale, has anyone else seem them? 

The same lights that were seen over Naples Florida were seen over Ft Lauderdale around 10PM near Federal Highway. We counted 37 objects all in a line from West to East.

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe shared reports on unusual bright orange lights observed over ocean beaches in Florida, people's encounters with lizard-skinned beings, and a glowing, 'gyroscope'-shaped craft that has been seen in Florida, Japan & Tunisia. Regarding the sightings of strange lights in Florida, she played two interviews that she conducted with government officials from the area who investigated separate, but similar, incidents from around the same time frame. One official was the Naples, Florida fire chief, Stephen McInerny, who personally saw the strange event. He described it as approximately seven lights that kept changing into different symmetrical shapes. Did you see that Ufo over Maryland 4th December 2010

This amazing new Ufo sightings was filmed over Maryland in United States on Tuesday, 14th December 2010 around 8:30 pm. If you witnessed this please respond to this post asap.

I caught this unusual "plane" around 8:30PM on 12/14/10. It was flying very very low in sky. I watched it turn its lights on and off and flash irregularly. At first I thought I was looking at the front of a plane but it never flew over my direction which makes me think I was looking at the side of the craft based on the direction it was flying. It appeared to fly diagonally and changed shape at times. I also found it unusual that I didn't hear any sound coming from the craft considering how low and close it was to me. Watch for brief shape changing at the 0:53 mark. I lost track of the object shortly after this as most of the lights on the craft turned off. As always please watch this video at 720p full screen.

People you have no idea how many emails i get daily about Ufos seen on live cams like Earthcams.
Something is up!

Click here to see the live 24hr cam feed from New York, this is the most active cam for Ufos at the moment. Some people say what your are seeing are planes waiting to land at JFK airport but others disagree with this.

I would like everyone to keep an eye on these cam sites and  if you can possibly use a video capture software if you see a Ufo and then upload it to youtube.

Strange Ufo over Santa Monica

This happened on December 1st, 2010 at 5:09pm on a walk in Santa Monica California. My wife and I were walking west about 17 blocks from the ocean when we saw these bizarre objects in the sky. It happened so fast, I barely was able to film... and I went off the objects to get a better vantage point, so only caught them for a brief moment at the beginning of the film. I really messed up the recording because I didn't know how fast it would all happen. Fortunately I caught a brief moment of the objects using my iPhone. I have NO IDEA what they were... but as you can see... they were big and high in the air (seemingly over the ocean) and shooting off some kind of myst, contrail or light. The top one changed directions twice that you can see on the film if you forward through the beginning frame by frame. Both objects were dropping really fast. When I was walking across the street to get a better vantage point, the iPhone was unable to refocus the light, and you can't really see much after I cross the street... but you can hear in my voice that the objects were weaving back and forth like the "Silver Surfer". These things just dropped super fast. They had these crazy short contrails... and weaved back and forth as they dropped. There were not any planes visible that the objects could have been dropped out of... and WHAT THE HELL were the contrails coming off of them?!?! It really looked like the "Silver Surfer" from a cartoon. Crazy... and I have no idea what they were... but just wanted to share. I wish I had a better vantage point when I was filming. It does not look nearly as impressive on-screen, but I tell you that seeing it was totally wild and bizarre. At least you can see how about how big the objects were, what they looked like with the contrails, and that they were changing directions and dropping rapidly. I am just glad I caught even a moment of it on film. Anybody else see anything like this before? Anyone else see this that night in Santa Monica? Maybe someone knows what they were.


UPDATE:

There are now multiple angles of footage on both December 1st and December 8th of STRANGE FALLING FIREBALLS over Santa Monica. Witnesses first thought they were plane crashing, etc.

I was watching the live cam that was looking in opposite direction from LAX airport and I noticed these hovering glowing orbs over a freeway in LA. The first time I saw the cam it looked like a row of glowing orbs on a long wing, much like the famous Phoenix Lights UFO back in Arizona in 1996 which was seen by thousands of people.

After seeing this unusual craft, I scwbooks got onto Twitter and posted the info so others could confirm my sighting live. Several others did saying that they saw the UFOs on the live cam. I also posted it on Facebook while it was happening. I did this because confirmation of a sighting is most important. I also immediacy emailed UFO-Blogger.com for confirmation.

This is happing right over a LA freeway!! Now I don't know if drivers could see this because this is a night cam, which can see beyond the spectrum of the human eye, but I sure hope someone else out there is recording it besides me!
I reported on a similar UFO sighting last month on the same cam and this is the exact same craft as before, but this time it is much closer that last time. Whatever it is, it is amazing.

Please check out this cam from time to time, since this is the second sighting of this UFO, but just in a slightly different and closer location this time.

RealUfos - what we can't write about ?

Ive been asked recently by a RealUfos reader this question:

"As a long running Ufo website you obviously receive numerous emails every day and Ufo reports, you've got a lot of information coming in, are there some things you hold back on, some people think you do?"...

Ok this is something I've wanted to clear up. Ive noticed comments saying that somehow RealUfos has jumped on the disinfo bandwagon simply because we are number one. This is totally untrue. We report Ufo sightings as they come in, as we always have for 5 years now. We reply upon feedback and submissions from our readers, we do go over this information to try and post the most interesting and genuine sightings but we never steer from this.

There are a few certain things we can't post as i wish the site to remain as it is... Specifically  the site stats, which for privacy reasons i won't go into further. Trends do build up over time, If you notice repeated hits from certain sources you can definitely  notice something going on if you know what i mean!

But thats it, RealUfos is here for you the readers - nothing less, nothing more!

December 1 2010, I was driving home in Oakland California around 10pm and noticed this very prominent UFO formation in the sky. I pulled off the freeway and drove up to the closest hill to get a better look. I had to cut the video down to fit it on Youtube but the original footage is over 15 minutes long. To me it seems like the light orb phenomena in a triangle formation with smaller orbs appearing around the main formation. The zoomed in shots of the orbs show them morphing in shape and materializing in and out. The formation lasted about 15 minutes then each one slowly faded out. It's interesting to notice as they start to fade out an additional light next to the orb starts to blink as if they are mimicking aircraft in the sky.

You can be sure the PTB will go to all lengths to ensure Wikileaks is stopped and that the Ufo reports from the yet to be released files don't make it to the public:

Results of NASA's alien biology Press Conference

Ok so NASA didn't say humanoid type ET's are here, but the announcement which finally came through on Thursday said that bacterial descendants from ET worlds are living here on Earth and that earth may function as a "shadow biosphere" here. This is enough to start scientists  re-thinking a whole range of topics, especially evolution of life on Earth. Yet again this discovery increases the probability of intelligent life out there on the universe. The interesting point is that if bacteria are the foundation for development of life on a planet there may be a remote chance that humans may have also evolved from alien bacteria.. which is an interesting idea. Below is a re-cap of the main points from the NASA conference:

All life on Earth - from microbes to elephants and us - is based on a single genetic model that requires the element phosphorus as one of its six essential components.

But now researchers have uncovered a bacterium that has five of those essential elements but has, in effect, replaced phosphorus with its look-alike but toxic cousin arsenic.

The discovery the door to that possibility and to the related existence of a theorized "shadow biosphere" on Earth - life evolved from a different common ancestor than all that we've known so far.

"Our findings are a reminder that life-as-we-know-it could be much more flexible than we generally assume or can imagine," said Felisa Wolfe-Simon, the young biochemist who led the effort after being selected as a NASA Astrobiology Research Fellow and as a member of the National Astrobiology Institute team at Arizona State University.

"If something here on Earth can do something so unexpected - that breaks the unity of biochemistry - what else can life do that we haven't seen yet?" she said.

The research, funded through NASA and conducted with samples from California's Mono Lake, found that some of the bacteria not only used arsenic to live, but had arsenic embedded into their DNA, RNA and other basic underpinnings.

"This is different from anything we've seen before," said Mary Voytek, senior scientist for NASA's program in astrobiology , the arm of the agency involved specifically in the search for life beyond Earth and for how life began here.

"These bugs haven't just replaced one useful element with another, they have the arsenic in the basic building blocks of their makeup," she said. "We don't know if the arsenic replaced phosphorus or if it was there from the very beginning - in which case it would strongly suggest the existence of a shadow biosphere." source -read more

NASA To Make Alien Biology Life Statement today - Update

This is my review of that Australian ET documentary which aired on SBS ( click here for the documentary):
I watched this show last night and i must say I cringed at times because although Mary knows much from people who have had first hand experiences with Ets and Ufos, she lacked the fundamental arguments to refute her sceptics.
In an age where "Seeing is believing", third person testimony simply is not good enough for most people. At times she is exactly how the media who Ufo investigators to be portrayed - as a crackpot with no evidence to backup here extra-ordinary claims.
If i was at that panel at the university with Mary where she spoke I would have totally nailed that professor who unnecessarily tore Mary's argument to pieces - talk about defending his ego!, that poor lady had nothing to came back to him, yet he kept putting her down - this is not a uncommon response however as  the majority of scientists fear accepting the Ufo topic cause it would involve re-writing everythign we know about physics and interstellar travel .
If Mary had done her research (or read this blog) she could have brought up some topics like how numerous generals and former US Air force officers recently came forward to give testimony about their Ufo sightings over naval and nuclear installations - you can't dispute evidence from credible witnesses with sworn affidavits, and how leading scientists and even people like Steven Hawking have come forward recently saying that the probability of intelligent life out in the universe is so high now, its a likely fact.
They did discuss that Indian scientist  Ragbir Bhathal  from Australia who found that laser signal but they failed to discuss the most important fact that 2 months ago NASA found the first earth like habitable planet outside our solar system extremely close to where this signal was detected!
However there are points about Mary and some of the people she came across that are great and her dedication to the Ufo topic is quite obvious and should be applauded.
In particular i was interested the parts where Mary talked to the second man who passed the lie detector test with his close encounter with a  "tall blond ET being" and kept a hair of this being that was later scientifically confirmed via DNA testing as rare human/hybrid type DNA .

Further strange triangle lights over New York NY Nov 2010

I want everyone in New York state to please keep your eye up to the skies every night now and have your cell phone and video cameras ready to roll. This is very important.
The sheer volume of emails, videos and questions from people in New York about weird lights seems to be increasing every week here at RealUfos, with sightings almost every night there. We need to work out what these objects are!.
Im guessing an infra red camera would better help identify this and help us work out they are sky gliders, ballons or some type of solid craft.

Everyone has been asking me the same question via email today about Wikileaks and if they are going to expose any US military secrets regarding Ufos.

The media and governments and a like have been dreading the new release of confidential files which contain information from over 250000 cables between US embassies and the US government, so there is a huge amount of information to sift through.

I do have further information which has been sent to me today about wikileaks and a possible Ufo case but i need to verify this first.

Bill Birnes - why Ufo Hunters was pulled from the TV ?

We all want to know why Ufo Hunters was pulled from the air. Some of the episodes from the series became the History Channels most highest rated episodes for the year. Although the economic slow down and the reduction in ratings did have an impact on season 3, there still was good chance a season 4 could have done well in 2010/11 as the show had a loyal following.

Incase you missed it here is the Dulce episode that Bill Birnes said got the Show cancelled. Here are screen captures of the strange cow fetus with the human shaped head(image) that the shows producers deliberated over showing and that Bill said "upset" many people in high places.
It would be good if someone who know stuff about cow fetus's to compare what this image is compared to normal ones.

When I was a Corporate Manager of Fairchild Industries from 1974 through 1977, I met the late Dr Wernher Von Braun. We first met in early 1974. At that time, Von Braun was dying of cancer but he assured me that he would live a few more years to tell me about the game that was being played- that game being the effort to weaponize space, to control the Earth from space and space itself. Von Braun had a history of working with weapons systems. He escaped from Germany to come to this country and became a Vice President of Fairchild Industries when I had met him. Von Braun's purpose during the last years of his life, his dying years, was to educate the public and decision-makers about why space-based weapons are dumb, dangerous, destabilizing, too costly, unnecessary, unworkable, and an undesirable idea, and about the alternatives that are available.

When Wernher Von Braun was dying of cancer, he asked me to be his spokesperson, to appear on occasions when he was too ill to speak. I did this.

What was most interesting to me was a repetitive sentence that he said to me over and over again during the approximately four years that I had the opportunity to work with him. He said the strategy that was being used to educate the public and decision makers was to use scare tactics That was how we identify an enemy. The strategy that Wernher Von Braun taught me was that first the Russians are going to be considered to be the enemy. In fact, in 1974, they were the enemy, the identified enemy. We were told that they had "killer satellites". We were told that they were coming to get us and control us-that they were "Commies."

Then terrorists would be identified, and that was soon to follow. We heard a lot about terrorism. Then we were going to identify third-world country "crazies." We now call them Nations of Concern. But he said that would be the third enemy against whom we would build space-based weapons.
The next enemy was asteroids. Now, at this point he kind of chuckled the first time he said it.

And the funniest one of all was what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final scare. And over and over and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. "And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We are going to have to build space-based weapons against aliens and all of it is a lie."

I think I was too naïve at that time to know the seriousness of the nature of the spin that was being put on the system. And now, the pieces are starting to fall into place. We are building a space-based weapons system on a premise that is a lie, a spin. Wernher Von Braun was trying to hint that to me back in the early 70's and right up until the moment when he died in 1977.

What he told me was that there is an accelerated effort in place. He didn't mention a timeline but he said that it was going to be speeding up faster than anybody could possibly imagine. That the effort to put weapons into space was not only based on a lie but would accelerate past the point of people even understanding it until it was already up there and too late.

When Von Braun was dying in front of me, the very first day that I met him, he had tubes draining out of his side. He was tapping on the desk telling me, "You will come to Fairchild." I was a schoolteacher. He said, "You will come to Fairchild and you will be responsible for keeping weapons out of space." The way he said it with this intenseness in his eyes, and added that very first day, the first time I met him, that space-based weapons were a dangerous, destabilizing, too costly, unnecessary, untestable, unworkable idea.

The last card that was being held was the extraterrestrial enemy card.

The intensity with which he said that, made me realize that he knew something that he was too afraid to mention. He was too afraid to talk about it. He would not tell me the details.

A great Ufo book for both skeptics and believers this Christmas

If you looking for a book to get any open minded friends from Christmas I would highly recommend looking at UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record by Leslie Kean (if you havent already). My copy finally arrived in from Amazon and it is a great read, and very well researched. Its a must for anyone into Ufos and actually quite convincing for the skeptics as most of the reports come from official retired US airforce generals and officers. Overall it makes for a very eye-opening read .

Ufos filmed over Tucson gas station make the news Nov 23, 2010

The recent spate of Ufos over Tucson has made it into the media.
Here's the latest report :

Suspicious lights in the sky were seen by several KGUN 9 viewers on Saturday night. What were they?

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Was it the military? Was it a flare? Was it an alien spaceship? That's what KGUN 9 viewers are asking about some strange lights that appeared in the sky on Saturday night at around 10:39 p.m.
Sheila Martin captured the sight on camera from an east Tucson gas station and posted the video on YouTube. Martin says that she saw at least 4 lights moving from south to northeast in a boomerang formation.

"I was shocked. This is happening right over our heads. I was amazed!" said Martin. Others also recorded the event and posted their videos online. One Tucson man reported seeing as many as 16 lights in formation.

Martin says -- what she captured on video should look familiar. Remember the Phoenix lights from the late 1990's? Thousands of people saw the triangular glow in the night sky. The military said that they were flares but many are still skeptical.

"What's the connection to the Phoenix lights? They imitated them to the T" said Martin.

Steve Raw of Tucson also saw what he describes as a trapezoid formation. "They were very small, not twinkling and static" said Raw.

Vo asked Raw, "Do you think this could've been a UFO?"

He replied "As in extra terrestrials? I don't have the expertise to make an opinion but I think it's possible to some extent."

9 On Your Side took the video to James McGaha. As a former military pilot and now an astronomer, he's spent forty thousand hours looking at the night sky. He thinks the lights come from flares.

"Question is, did someone release them as a hoax or are they flares from something else? The reason you can say they're flares is because they're very bright points of light in the sky and they're not moving" said McGaha. McGaha insists - there's no way the lights came from an alien spacecraft.

Sheila Martin disagrees.

"What do you think it was?" asked Vo.

"I'm gonna say, aliens. I'm sure there's all types of different aliens out there. I believe we're aliens. There's human aliens out there visiting us" said Martin.
But McGaha says, even "alien logic" explains why the lights did not come from an alien spacecraft.

I finally managed to see it again, like last week the alleged craft manifested itself in the same spot on Friday. After the past eight I went outside to check the shooting, I thought had captured the moment in which the object disappeared, but unfortunately it was not so.
PS watch it all, but in particular pay attention to minute 3:46, 4:45 where we see a light appear and desappear in the rear of the aircraft, and from 5:35 to 6:20, where instead we see the lights change color.

Rhese are sightings from the 15-17 th of november most of the sightings in this video are from the 16 th November. There where a huge amount of unknown crafts flying around sometimes in formations of 4-5 but i did not manage to film that since my camera is old and has a really bad zoom and they where moving fast.. But regardless i managed to film som pretty neat stuff. I call this an invasion considering the number of sightings all at once and the large numbers of ufos seen both by me and my partner.

They where over 20 crafts or more alltogether i actaully counted them appear one by one sometimes following each others sometimes crossing paths and there where lots of them hovering next to the towers in the forests.

There are lots of fake airplane ufos in the video also notice how the sounds does not match the craft nor the distance since there is nothing visible that looks like a helicopter anywhere in the footage..

I had to mute some parts because of the camera sounding way to much also there was to much talking in some parts of the video.

Pat Barker was strolling along Askam beach with a friend last Wednesday when she spotted a strange-looking object in the sky.

They were both baffled by the yellow-coloured object. Askam resident Ms Barker then got out her mobile phone and took pictures of the UFO, which appeared to be moving along the skyline.

Ms Barker said: “I saw it over Roanhead and couldn’t work out what it was.
“We still don’t know what it was. We showed it to people and they don’t have a clue. I just want to find out and see if anyone knows, if there’s little people inside it or something.”

NASA to Develop '100-Year-Starship '

Very interesting news here from NASA, using a new form of "electro magnetic propulsion" NASA plans to build a starship to travel between "alien worlds". But i mean seriously how is this possible in years??Are  we really be looking at back-engineering in progress?...

A SENIOR NASA official has promised to deliver a spaceship that will travel between alien worlds "within a few years".
Speaking at a conference in San Francisco on Saturday, NASA Ames director Simon Worden said his division had started a project with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency called the "Hundred Year Starship”.
The project was kicked off recently with $1 million funding from DARPA and $100K from NASA and hopes to utilise new propulsion ideas being explored by NASA.
Star Trek fans, prepare to get excited - electric propulsion is here, according to Mr Worden.
“Anybody that watches the (Star Trek) Enterprise, you know you don’t see huge plumes of fire," he said.
"Within a few years we will see the first true prototype of a spaceship that will take us between worlds.”

Mr Worden said the space program was "now really aimed at settling other worlds”.
