UFO Hunters: Underwater Area 51 AUTEC
"Everyone's heard of Area 51--Groom Lake, Nevada. However, 2,500 miles away there's an underwater facility that's also highly secretive. Perched on the cusp of The Bermuda Triangle, it's called AUTEC. The Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center is a laboratory said to be used by the U.S. Navy for weapons testing and underwater research. UFO and USO activity in and around AUTEC fuels speculation that the U.S. government is secretly working with extraterrestrials; engineering and testing alien technology. The team heads here to speak with former base employees and to search the waters around one of America's most top-secret facilities."

I didn't find this episode very conclusive - a remote viewer, a wire going into the trench, a secure military base, an ancient harbor, perhaps... - not very convincing. In my opinion the eye witness testimony was the best evidence and yet they didn't seem to see very much. I was a little disappointed - in general, I love this series. Maybe they just didn't have much to go on here. Bill came across too convinced for the evidence at hand. This kind of talk makes people skeptical
No proof...
Great stuff Matt
I Love UFO Hunters,Just bought season 1&2 myself.

great show!!
lol. yup bill "I will beleive" as always.
I am still not sure about remote viewers hmmmm, and I must admit the amount of scientific facts compared to series one is very thin,if any at times ;P
But I did enjoy the interview with the pilot,as you pointed out Maybe they just didn't have much to go on, I guess they have a budget to work from and once they turn up at a location they have to make the best of it even if there is not much to go on.
Still one of my fave shows, love it.

I agree with the first comments--a psychic investigator? Really? The guy that claimed to move forward in time..(which we all do)..what's your proof? He CLAIMS that he finished his journey 30 minutes early and had too much fuel left. Again, what's your proof?
The eyewitnesses were compelling, but did we really need to see Bill and Co. drive up to the front of the facility and just stand there, think better of it and leave? Wow, that took guts!!
Bill is very easily convinced..of anything, anytime, anywhere! His leaps of logic do no good for the field of study and just seem to induce eye rolling.
I do miss Ted.
There is a whole lot of conjecture going on there, but not much in the way of proof. I say that this series has reached a point of diminishing returns. It's kind of sad that the producers don't see that and step things up.
Personally, I'd like to see some famous UFO footage enhanced and analyzed by the best people out there to separate the fakes from the real ones.
Why do these guys always dress up like they're going on a safari or something?
Just another area on earth where other dimensions/times can be accessed. Why do people want space aliens from this universe? There is another hot spot/base in El Yunque, PR. Ever hear of the Skinwalker Ranch? Google "Areas of High Strangeness" if you want the TRUTH!

I worked at AUTEC for a short while this year and I will tell you the only USO I saw were the three bars full of nightly drunks that frequented those places. It was a great place to work and save a lot of money.
the autec web sites have already been taken down - sore nerve?

I know someone who was stationed at Autec from 72 to 73 and he doesn't believe in UFOs, USOs, aliens, etc. He was also on a hydrographic ship to map out the oceans bottoms. He is going to get a big laugh out of this show! Cable? Compasses going crazy? Have you ever heard of degaussing cables for ships and subs? Remote viewer....give me a break...I still haven't gotten over laughing at Major Ed Dames who used to go all freaky on Coast To Coast AM. I remember, many years ago, when he foresaw that the sun was about to have an imminent class something or other flare up that would fry the earth on the side facing the sun. He decided to find refuge in Tahiti..or some such resort island. This was after he had made all kinds of other predictions that didn't pan out. Remote viewing was seen as an embarrassment by the "intelligence?" organizations which is why they try to disown it. The success rate was no more than 50-50 and was a failure. That French guy was a real winner! This was, overall, a very funny show...had to have been "tongue in cheek".
I spent several years on AUTEC in the 80's, many high schools have a bigger population than the number that worked and lived on Andros. Everyone knows everyone and what was going on. To say AUTEC has anything to do with UFO, Aliens, etc. is hilarious. I called all the people I still keep in contact with from the island and we laughed so hard.
I live at AUTEC and found this episode very entertaining, My husband was at the front gate the day they came by and they never once asked to come on. With the Coast Guard Helicopter flying over, well lets just say that happens about 5 times a day it was NOT because of them. This episode has become such a big joke here. We must have had 10 people dressed as aliens for halloween. It was GREAT!!
Thank goodness that so called professor ted is off the show. He strained in evey episode to come up with big dictionary words that tried to make himself look important. In my opinion the show is. So much better without professor idiot in them. Kevin offers much more inside without trying to look so important.

Here's where your spooky underwater cable is going... it's a transmission line powering an underwater acoustic test range.
What a stupid show.
