US Military: Hypersonic X-plane To Fly By 2016

The US Military aims to fly a hypersonic plane at 20 times the speed of sound, by 2016.
The triangle cone shaped X-plane will travel incredibly at Mach 20 (20,900 km/h),  making it capable of flying any place on earth in less than an hour!.
The Hypersonic plane has been developed in response to the advancing abilities in stealth and counter-stealth warfare countries like China and other nations have, who could threaten the military dominance of the USA.
DARPA, The US Governments Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency has focused all research on developing this craft so that they can create a bomber able to reach any target on the globe in under an hour.  However, there are still many technological hurdles to cross in development as a craft flying at Mach 20 would experience temperatures in excess of 1920C, which is hot enough to melt steel. 
You can then start to understand why back engineering a recovered UFO makes perfect sense - and why knowledge of this is kept top secret due to the significant technological advantages it provides to the military.  Many in the UFO community believe material such as the metal recovered from the downed Roswell craft displayed properties of being extremely light but at the same time very strong and highly resistent to heat. Was this no co-incidence?

An important note:
 The National Security Act was passed just 5 months after the Roswell crash in July 1947, this was the point when the Government knew that the UFO phenomenon was definitely the result of extraterrestrial inter-planetary craft.

Nitinol (Nickel-titanium) comes to mind as the metal this type of craft would use to counter the stresses and heat generated by such high speeds.

Nitinol was supposedly developed from the Roswell crash when samples of the metal retrieved from the crashed craft were given to the Battelle Memorial Insitute to back engineer.

Obviously, if the military have aquired such exotic metals the best use to put those metals to would be to thoroughly test them so as better to understand their properties and to then develop similar or alike metals, which would have far more applications for high speed craft than what was then available in the late 1940's.

That such metal is now in use for the more 'sophisticated' military aircraft proves to my mind at least, that metal technology received a huge boost sometime during the late 1940's or 1950's, depending on which source one may choose to look up.

I have no doubt that E.T. came to some kind of grief over the New Mexico desert in June 1947 and the resulting crash has given the U.S.A. an enormous leap over everyone else in the technology department.

Doesn't it strike anyone else as strange that the original Roswell report utterly failed to mention alien bodies? I mean, if you're going to tell the world that you found an alien disk wouldn't you also blab your head off about any occupants?

Charles B Moore debunked Roswell years ago but also said that he'd most definitely seen a flying saucer. Not only that but Col. Ruppelt said that other balloon researchers from General Mills saw so many UFOs buzzing their balloons that they actually ceased to be a topic of conversation. These are guys who, unlike Marcel, actually knew what was flying around up there and appear not to have had a history of heavily doctoring their resumes.

There appears to be some perverse human drive for tossing aside good evidence for bad, you know?

I'm thinking,if the material such as the metal,was "SO STRONG" and so very light,how is it that there was so much "debris" from this craft, on impact with the ground!?

You've got to wonder how strong is strong!?...NOT THAT STRONG, that it can't be broken, dented or ripped apart on impact,...then to retrieve and inspect. I would have thought the craft would have been pretty much intact! if the metal, the craft! was that robust.

Something missing in this story....

I note the two comments regarding Roswell and suggest to Hieronymus Braintree, that the original report about Roswell lasted less then 24 hours before it was 'killed' by the FBI. The bodies were not located until days after the orginal report, and from another location approximately 20 miles from where the craft finally came to rest after having 'touched down' on the Brazel Ranch where most of the light metal from the craft's outer skin separated from the craft itself.

It would do well to remember that there are several various types of U.F.O. (at least nine that I am aware of) which also suggests they come from different technologies and on probability, from different planets, or dimensions. So their methods of propulsion, although based on a common principle, would also be diverse and operate differently although arrive at the same result.

Which then brings me to Anonymous who has doubts about the strength of the metals used in U.F.O. construction. I am not a metalurgist but I do have some familiarity with how some metals will react under severe stress such as that imposed on the outer and inner sufaces of a U.F.O. when being operated. Plainly, when a propulsion system is based on electro-magnetic principles which is powered by a kind of nuclear reactor, the properties of the metal employed in the craft's construction will be affected by such a propulsion system when it is turned on. The same metal will then revert to its former strength or properties, when the propulsion is turned off.

So the metal that is under 'stress' while the craft is being operated is far more susceptable to outside influences, such as impacting the ground, than it would normally be when the craft is not operating.

Thanks for the greater understanding, of the stress on metal, under certain running conditions, of the onboard technology of the craft...its something to think about! and does answer the puzzle,I had overlooked
a video, I now remember,of when some military planes, were ordered to intercept a UFO. and found themselves in big trouble when they
got within range,because not only did they loose their electronics,
but some of their planes just fell apart!? It was explaind, that when
they were in the UFOs energy field
the "metal" had been weakened to such a degree,that the wings just collspsed under the stress! So I can see now, how your explanation makes so much sense about the metal,thank you for reminding me of that video........

Read CorsosDawn of a new age manuscripts he talks about the crash and has some very interesting explanations about what you are talking about.what if said spacecraft was going 3000 mph at impact even the strongest of metals would have a hard time staying intact!!!!

Yes! I can see that ET.needed to construct their craft, with really strong & light meterials, of which properties were adequate enough,to
withstand the operating field, that the craft worked in,which now makes me think,...if the operating field has this effect on metal,what
might the effect be, on its occupants, if any!?...So many questions:)........?

To those interested in some research into the properties of U.F.O's and their effect on aircraft, particularly fighter aircraft, Frank Feshino has a book out called Shoot Them Down which covers some very interesting incidents involving military aircraft and U.F.O's.

And as an aside - the U.S. military lost more fighter aircraft in the skies over the U.S. during the early 1950's than was shot down during the entire Korean War which was raging at that time. The official reasons given for such a dramatic increase in 'accidental' aircraft loss during this period of U.S. history is as numerous as the number of aircraft and pilots lost.

Shoot Them Down contains quite a lot of historical evidence that has been misplaced or forgotten to history, and is a good reference source for linking together some unexplained incidents that if left alone would never have been solved.

A good book!
